Jelly-like vaginal discharge

if you are getting discharges then yes it is possible that it's coming. you're lucky i never got a sign when my period came, all i got was slight cramping once in a blue moon lol. just start wearing panti liners just in case

I am having the same issue. In December I had the paraguard copper IDU inserted in my uterus. Since then I have not had a cycle and just over the past week I have had this jelly like discharge. There is no odor or itching so I am assuming that it is not a yeast infection. I am just wondering about the whole ovulation theory. Will I still ovulate with this IUD? 

Actually for many women a jelly like mucous means you are fertile. Please consider protection.. I am 24 So I am not someone who is far away from your age =) SEX IS FUN! AND great... But pregnancy is'nt. I have been having this issue for about a year now. Thought it was a buildup of spermicide but wasn't sure. Talked to my gyno and she said she's never heard of it and to bring in a sample. I did and she tested it and said it is just mucous. I'm baffled and disgusted. Sometimes it's clear, sometimes brownish and I hate it. I've been tracking it on my period tracker ap for months and there is no rhyme or reason to it. Hopefully someday it will end! You're all not alone.

I am having this problem as well. and i am recently getting over a c-section (7 weeks ago yesterday) and was wondering if it may be infection from that or something. but saying its ovulation makes complete sense now because women ovulate A LOT more when they are after having a baby, so clearly, this is normal... Cool, this site helped 110%. i was scared my husband was cheating on me!!

yes, you can still ovulate with the iud, what it does is just kill the sperm that is trying to make its way to the fertile eggs. That's why in some very rare cases women still get pregnant with it.

Try baby powder and avoid thong under ware. Cotton is breathable and always best. You can still find cute styles that will allow for the best health of your lady parts. Also, if you are taking any type of birth control, you can experience differences in vaginal discharges. Find a different gyno and get a pelvic exam, then question your medication. Hope this helps!

You should find a new gyno! And ALWAYS ask them the embarrassing questions...I know it's hard, but that is their entire job!!! They're ladies too, remember, and they've most likely experienced everything you are. You shouldn't feel like you have to be celibate because of "wetness"! Wetness is good. Sometimes it can be a sign of an infection, but those are curable! Just get it checked out to make sure. But normally, EVERYONE experiences discharge! It just changes consistency and amounts depending on the time of month. Trust me––you don't want to be permanently dry down there. It's just your vagina cleaning itself out! Don't worry! :)

Hiya all I've been with my hubby now for ten years we finally got married in sep of this year we already have a lil girl who we love sadly 3-4 months ago I had my first miscarriage but I got caught quite quick after as done a test the weekend of our wedding n was positive now sadly have had another miscarriage very recently but I am now having clear jelly now I had this about 3 weeks ago but took no notice but reading these , dose it mean I can get caught again soon or no very confused xxx
