I have three lovely grandchildren and one of them might be suffering from juvenile temporal arteritis. Now I wonder what can be done about it and how they test it exactly. My daughter in law doesn't seem too keen on sharing too much information so I suppose I have to get it from here. Is juvenile temporal arteritis hereditary? Anything you can tell me would be really great.

I have to say that juvenile temporal arteritis is a very rare thing! Did you know that temporal arteritis can cause vision loss if not treated properly, along with a whole host of other horrible symptoms? It can be treated very well if it is caught early enough though. I am sorry this is happening to your grand child.
