Thanks so much for your input. Did yours ever swell a little making it hard to walk when it was shrinking?

The labia minora does shrink and so does the vagina when going through Menopause. It is due to lack of Estrogen and can also shrink with lack of sex.

Hi there. This is very good information. I'm wondering if you found any more information regarding this Italian doctor and stem cells to regenerate the labia. I have fear if this as one side is getting affected in this way. I'm wondering if that cream from Australia- Perrin naturals? High antioxidant cream? I'm wondering if radio frequency treatment would help? Thank you so much! All the very best to you!

I read that intercourse is good for LS as helps keep everything going.
Google Vulvar atrophy. In a article by Mayo Clinic it says “How to fix atrophy of the vulva” : Treatment:
1. Vaginal moisturizers like KY liquibeads, Replens, Sliquid to restore moisture to your vaginal area. (My gyn recommends C-magic)

2 water-based lubricants like Astroglide, KY jelly, Sliquid to apply just before sexual activity and reduce discomfort during intercourse.
3. Vaginal Esttogen tablet (Vagifem)- you use a disposable applicator to place a vaginal estrogen tablet in your vagina. You might use it daily for first 2 weeks then twice a week thereafter.

I am completely relieved to hear other people have this although it sounds like not much can be done about as I see some of you are so much younger than me. I can't believe at 72 I found out what it is. Better late than never as they say. I do take estriol with hyaluronic acid and also clobatesal. It seems the minora are just disappearing so fast it kind of surprised and worried me to say the least. I am glad I found this site to find out more information and to know I am not alone.
