My husband had a laminectomy April 20th, and then again yesterday. The amt of fluid build up was so much that the pressure loosened one of the screws on the left side. How does he make lessen the chances of fluid build up again? Any help is appreciated. His symtoms were weakness in his left leg and syatic nerve pain in back and left leg. Why don't they leave the drain in longer?
