I lost my virginity on boxing day, i was due on my period on new years eve, although i have still not came on. I did not use a condom however we ddnt have sex long enough for him to cum. but i am still worried as i have not came on my period and its now a week late. When i was having sex my cherry did pop and i lost alot of blood, when i told my friends they said they didnt bleed as much as i did. The guy i had sex with has said because you bleed alot it can mess your period cycle up so its why i am late. is this true?!?

Hi Stacey! Unfortunately you are one of a growing amount of girls that aren't practicing safe sex, so I think you might acually be pregnant!!!! Also depending on how "experienced" you boyfriend is, he could have given you an STI/STD! SO the first thing you need to do is go to your local freeclinic and ask for a pregnancy test! THEN be checked out for an STI! Because I hope and pray you don't have both!!!! Which is also on the rise!
Also you boyfriends doesn't know what he's talking about telling you that because you bled from you hymen tearing that it will stop your period!! There are VERY few reasons for your period not coming on! And unfortunately I think you might have the biggest reason - pregnancy!
NOW if you are free of both being pregnant AND an STI I want you to promise yourself NEVER EVER EVER to have unprotected sex again! I don't care if the guy doesn't like wearing a condom! BECAUSE if he doesn't that means he never does - which puts him and you at more risk of STI's and of course pregnancy! This is YOUR body! And because you guys chose to not protect yourselves, you might now just have to pay the price of playing Russian Roulette! So good luck!
