No I dont have any pain in my left eye, but I have irritating tingling and tension on my left cheek bone- cheek area sometimes, I've talked to others that have had minor infraction-like strokes where they lose movement for a little while. Is it a stress-related thing for you as it is me?

I have the left temple pain and the poping jaw also. I see a specialist for the jaw. He says I have arthritis in my jaw caused by clenching. If you hold your jaw tight or clench your teeth together you may also have the arthritis. I have to practice jaw relaxing and wear a moth gard to stop the clenching during the night and if I don't the pain comes back in the temple. I can also get pressure at the base of the head on the left side which is also caused by the clenching.

I see that it has been 10 months now, I too have experienced this temple pain / back of the left side of my head and I too was diagnosed w/ Fibro when I was 11 (I am not 34) so I have lived with docs not taking me serious and my husband tries to sympothitic but I think he thinks this is just another 'in my head' moment - but I am starting to get scared... Did you ever met anyone that gave you advice that helped with these symptoms??

I have had this problem for several years. My pain seems to become more regular when I drank dark liquor. I dont know what is causing this quick sharp pain in my temple but I do not like it! Sometimes I go months without any pain and then it comes back for a while intermittently. I want to make sure this is not a blood clot.

I have had pain in my left temple for almost two years. Does not go away. Pain lessens but still feels like a bruised area. Sometimes causes numbness in the cheek and dizziness. It's very frightening. I have started taking Alpha Lipoic Acid and L- carnitene. Hoping this will help. Have recently had high blood pressure readings and am taking meds for that also now. Let me know if you find out the cause of the temple pain.

Been having the same thing, left temple, over the past month; also soreness in the jaw, neck and even in the shoulder. Finally broke down and went to the doc; he really had nothing and then suggested that based on the symptoms it may be something called Temporal Artieitis. I agreed to the bloodwork only because he said that it could cause vision problems including blindness. I dont have any of the other symptoms of the condition. It scared the hell out of me and I am still awaiting the results so stay tuned. But it is treatable. If you have any of this going on then get checked just to be sure. The sharp temple pain comes and goes and involves the ear, eye, neck, shoulder.

I have a pain in my left temple. If I lightly rub my temple it causes my left eye to have a tingling sensation and affects my eye. No pain on the right temple but still the same when my temple is slightly touched, with the tingling. It is disturbing. I have type II diabetes and am 20 lbs over weight. I take blood pressure meds. Do you have diabetes? I don't have migraines but I do take four different BP meds

Has anyone tried warm compresses with a wet towel? I know that helped me when I had strep throat..a pharmacist reccomended putting a warm compress with white vinegar. Although I would be willing to try anything to get rid of this pain, I always try the holistic approach first. I hope everyone is feeling better. Thank you for the tips!

if it was a migraine, it would have more symptoms. I have a similar recurring headache on my left temple. Most headaches isolated to one side are said to be migraines, but the pain is nowhere near as painful as a migraine would be.
