My husband has been diagnosed with GAD. I cannot say that I am surprised because he is simply not himself last few months. He started worrying about everything and everyone without any good reason. He was constantly tensed and it takes him a lot of strength to function properly at work. He finally went to a doctor and got his therapy. Lexapro and Wellbutrin prescribed for GAD will that help?

It looks like GAD had progressed severely in your husband case. I mean, usually people diagnosed with GAD are first sent to therapies (Cognitive behavioral therapy and Behavioral therapy). If that does not work, then the doctors turn to medications. The meds he got there are to help him stop worrying and reduce the tension. I hope that the therapy will be successful and that he will be as before in no time.
