Hello, people. My friends’ kid has been diagnosed with Rett syndrome. I have heard about it, but I am not familiar with all the details. I hear that this kid has loss of hand motions. I wonder if this is normal. What can you tell me about this? I will really appreciate all your replies considering this.

Hi, there. Rett syndrome is a genetic disorder. It affects only girls and it interferes with brain’s normal developing. Repetitive hand movements are common for this disorder.
