Sounds like a fungal infection. Keep the area dry and use an antifungal cream regularly. Your pharmacist can advise which cream is best. Just keeping it dry is unlikely to solve the problem, you need the cream.
In assuming the rash has a red border, is fairly flat, feels dry, a center about the same colour as your skin and isn't weeping or making any pus.
