Menstrual Cramps (Dysmenorrhea)
Menstrual cramps are pains experienced in the lower part of the abdomen during menstrual period.It should be noted that while some women have menstrual cramps, some don't.

This does not mean abnormality in both cases.Except where there are physical abnormalities like overly narrow cervical opening (which makes mensual flow somehow difficult), abnormality of the uterus (womb) or endometriosis, most menstrual cramps are quite normal.

Notwithstanding, if the pain is very severe, it is necessary for a woman to be examined by her physician.
