Unfortunately, all that excessive eating of junk food has cost my father his health. He ahs been having problems with acid indigestion (burning sensations) and from time to time, there has been abdominal pain included. On top of that, he listens to his friends who tell him to use Mylanta or Madox. What kind of drugs are those?

I am not so sure about Madox, but I know a thing or two about Mylanta, my brother has been using it for some time. He had acid indigestion and sour stomach. That drug is an antacid and neutralizes the stomach acid. It should help your father, but it wouldn't hurt at all to see a doctor first.
