Hello,

you need to see gastro-intestinal specialist: heartburn, together with either vomiting and/ or coughing up blood could be the sign of stomach ulcer. With lung cancer and most likely medication you are taking chances for stomach lining to get damaged rise and that can cause ulcers. What's dangerous about them is that there is a chance that stomach ulcer bursts, causing internal bleeding and extreme abdominal pain. And if you get diagnosed in time, you can avoid this relatively easily by taking antacid medications and so called 'proton-pump inhibitors' such as pantoprazole which prevent too much stomach acid to be secreted,

Wish you all the best,

Nicole
