I have been taking birth control for 3 years now. Usually I am pretty good at keeping on track with my pills. I am in nursing school so I have a pretty hectic schedule. I have been working in the hospital this month and so I've been tired and not thinking properly when I'm home. I was suppose to start a new pack of pills on Sunday (it's now Saturday night), however, I didn't realize I had forgotten until Thursday night. I was not home at that time so I couldn't start taking them then. My boyfriend convinced me to have sex and that he would use the pull out method, if I ended up pregnant we would deal with it. I know this wasn't a good idea, but it sounded okay at the time. I could handle it, but still it wasn't really planned. I am just wondering how high the chances are that I'm pregnant after missing 5 pills from the beginning of my pack and then having unprotected sex. Thanks.
