My boobs have been hurting for the last 5 days, breast cancer?

Hi Abby, I would say that the pain your feeling is more down to them growing more than anything else and during your monthly cycle you will find that your breast tissue will change slightly and your also find than it will cause then to ache as well, you don't say how old you was when your breasts started to develop or if your period has been regular since it started?

First of all sweetie you need to relax and take a deep breath. A question I'd like to ask you, are you not comfortable asking your mother? Remember, she's a female too and has gone through this before too and will understand what you are going through.

Second. If you are this paranoid, talk to your mom about your concerns and make a doctors appointment to put these concerns at ease. It's probably nothing as Blankcanvas has already told you - these are common growing pains (yes you get them in your breasts as well) and you will continually get them every month as long as you get your period as they are a part of PMS and your cycle. I am a 39 year old woman that does not get her period, I've had a hysterectomy but I still have my ovaries and produce an egg so I still get sore breast every month.

I would also agree and talk to your mum about it and if your really concerned ask her if you can see a doctor just to put your mind at rest. I would also ask your mum to show you got to examine your breasts every month for any changes to :-)

My boobs have always had that "ball" I call it , inside. I was always worried to but I've had check ups they said it was fine. My boobs have always been tender to the touch. They can't be squeezed because it hurts that "ball". Just stay regular on checking urself

I just replied ^ Oh I seen a reply I'm 29 and they are still like that so puberty is hopefully the cause. But dang then what's my problem.
