My lip is tingling/numb... Can someone tell me what's going on?

My husband complained about his chin going numb yesterday. Google is great at showing you all the case studies of this being ms, or cancer and leading to death. It would be easing to know that someone else had this symptom and only had to make minor changes.

Did they ever find out what the virus was from? And I take it that they didn't give you antibiotics because it was viral? Like you, I have had a swollen lymph node on right side of neck for 2 weeks now. I have been glued to the computer, and have looked up everything! I have been touching the lymph node and staring at it when I am not staring at the computer Terrified! Outside of a lymph node that is at least 2 cm long, my neck has felt very stiff, but the swelling and the stiffness come and go throughout the day. I have had tingling in my lower lip.My right shoulder has a lot of pain with movement. When if first happened, I had ear pain that came and went. I had discomfort when chewing, but that only happened a couple of times. I went to the ER when it first happened. They thought it might be an abscess, so they put me on strong antibiotics for 5 days and told me to make an appointment with ENT as soon as possible. So, I called and got into ENT the next day. The ENT doctor said that it wasn't an abscess, but perhaps an infection in a salivary gland, or maybe a stone. He told me to continue the antibiotic, suck on lemon drops, massage the glad and use heat. I did all of these things, and went back in a week. At this appointment,I told him about the shoulder pain and the ear and jaw pain. Now he thinks it is either arthritis or TMJ. He now wants me to come back in two weeks, and if it is not better, he wants to do a cat scan. Of course, I also have a bigger problem yet! Along with all of this, I have health anxiety. And one of my biggest fears is having a severe allergic reaction. And of course, with doing the CT with dye, I am too afraid to allow them to put the dye in me, so I honestly have no idea what is going to happen if he insists on a CT scan. I am sorry for the long post, but what I really wanted to ask you is, did your lymph node go up and down? Was your neck stiff? And what tests did they do on you?

i have the same warm fuzzy feeling on my top lip in the right hand corner and it's been like this for about 2 weeks! warm fuzzy numbness same feeling as though i've been to the dentist. why is that? does anybody have a reason for this?

Last week I had swollen glands, took antibiotics. Then three days ago the tip of my tongue started tingling. Now it's my right lower lip, a little of my right cheek, right eye a little. What's going on?

My lower lip keeps going numb and the top of my leg on the same side is also numb. The numbness in my lip is coming and going. My leg also feels weak. What could this be?
