I had my period for about five or six days this month. I have always had bad periods for on reason or another. And on the 22, the day after my period stopped, I saw my primary care doctor. He told me that it was okay to start this birth control that my Gen. gave me. It is Zovia. I started it on the 22, and I took it every morning all week. On Saturday the 27 I started bleeding again, but it is not a normal period. On the 27 I felt like I always do when I start, I have the cravings that I do on my periods as well. It like a brownish color, and it usually is when I first start.

Could all this be because I started Zovia? Or is there something else? Should I see my doctor?

When you start the pill, it can actually take upto 3 months for it to regulate in your body! So just know that this is from the increase in hormones etc. and will balance out! NOW on the other hand if you keep having bleeding then you will need it changed - thus there being SO many BCP's out there - as they have different combinations! Good luck an dhelath!
