What you are experiencing is not 'normal', but not uncommon in women with irregular periods either. Many women with irregular periods will have problems just like yours, and most GYNOS will put them on birth control pills. Birth control pills stop the bleeding and regulate your cycle.

so if i get on birth control that will help the bleeding and regluate the period frequency ? but i also have a question about the clamdia i got it when i was 17 when i had sex for the first time and through my stupidity i never realized i had clamidia and noone ever told me i had it and i went to the doctor regularly but i finally was diagnosed with it when i was 20 and i was given medication to get rid of it but what is the rate of sterility in std cases will having clamidia affect me getting pregnant ..

Perhaps you did not get the disease when you were 17, maybe a year or two later?? It would have been diagnosed with a test quite easily if you had a PAP and STD screening too.
Chlamydia can cause infertility due to tubal damage and scar tissue, but this would not affect your menstrual cycle necessarily.
Yes the birth control would quite easily regulate your bleeding and your period, usually within a few months. There is always a chance you can get pregnant! AS long as you have a uterus and ovaries, you can get pregnant!

Fertility is ALL WOMEN is different! Not every woman will be 10 days, some may even be 20 days!
Each woman has a unique cycle. If a womanm has a perfect 28 day cycle every month, she can expect to ovulate at day 14..
A PERIOD will start 14-16 days after ovulation. BUT the time from when a period starts to ovulation changes...
