My son has a ependymal cyst with septations and i was wondering if that could cause turets syndrome because he has started this weird blinking and he is scrunching up his face alot.also i do not know what it means to have septations in a brain cyst so if anyone could explain that to me that would be very helpful.Thanks

Ependymal cysts are usually benign brain cysts that form during fetal development. They can start to cause problems only when they start to grow or change - in your son's case "septation in a brain cyst" means that the cyst has changed in a way that there is now some membrane separating the original cyst in two parts. And you don't have to be worried about Tourette's syndrome - all the symptoms you are linking with this syndrome are, most likely caused by the cyst - it's location in the brain can cause involuntary nervous system reactions. hello dear i want to know is better for septation of cysts my son is having cysts he cause he coming feds ever day dr say remove cysts is no danger because he is small 10year old so ple tell your advise .
