I have been experiencing some really nasty pains in my lower abdomen mainly in the middle but also across the side. It has been happening for the last week and is worst at night, where I am doubled over and crying in pain. My boyfriend and I use condoms but also have sex a lot by using the withdrawal method, I don't think it is likely to be a pregnancy but it could be an option, my breasts are sore but i have not been sick. i do suffer with problems releasing my bowels for a reason i dont know, i'm only 18 and have internal piles as a result (i have diagnosed this myself), yet it doesnt feel like a bloated, uncomfortable feeling, more like a sharp jabbing. I have put off going to docs as I dont want to be messed around with and quite frankly am embarrassed, but I will probably have to go since pain is so awful, is there any suggestions for what i am possibly experiencing?

I have had these pains to.. I went to the emergancy room and they couldn't do anything for me... I believe I have ovarian cysts.. My best friend had the same symptoms as you and she had ovarian cysts.. You need to see a doctore asap.. and reframe from having sex... Sex can make them burst!

I was having really bad abdominal pains also mainly at night to the point where I had to sleep on my back. I went to emergency room and they gave me a ct scan and found a small mass by my left ovary. Then I had to go to the GYN to have an ultra sound and they found a cyst. The cyst explains the shooting pain I sometimes get on the left side but it doesn't really explain the abdominal cramping. They gave me vicodine at the ER but it definitely won't last. For me the cramping seems to be more intense after my period. I have an appt. to go to a specialist to talk about endometriosis. I'm not sure if that what it is but hopefully someone will figure it out. Hope you go to the Dr. and they can help you.. Good Luck
