I have neurogenic claudication due to a spinal injury (cauda equina requiring surgery 4 years ago). Permanent nerve damage causes pain in legs which is worsened by even light pressure - any pressure from stool in lower bowel increases pain level in leg. I also have a rectocele - would having that repaired reduce pressure on nerve and lessen pain?
