People say that but you can't deny that you even wanted it. We can't dread getting it if we don't know what it's like and every girl at some point has wished that they had it. It's so annoying when my friends talk about it and I feel super left out because I can not relate at all. I've even had dreams now that I started my period but i still haven't! Did you notice anything different before you got it and how much did you weigh because I am underweight so I don't know if that is the reason I don't have it. (I have boobs, SO MUCH DISCHARGE everyday, vaginal hair that i shave, arm pit hair that i shave everyday, and leg hair that i shave) I have pretty much every part of female puberty but my period.

Hi! I am 17 years old. The same thing happened to me when I was a bit younger. I got mine at 15 but I started discharge and breast developing at 11. As you see I had that all for 4 years. Anyways no one can exactly predict when your period will be so be patient. They are not fun so be glad you haven't started!

I am 13 too! I have not gotten my period yet by my mom and my sister have it. Trust me, you do not want to make your period come faster. If you do however need your period to come faster because of depression issues of being left out or teased, foods with estrogen and soy usually make your period come faster. ONCE AGAIN, TRUST ME, YOU DO NOT WANT YOUR PERIOD!! ITS AWEFUL!

Hi I'm almost 13 and I haven't gotten it yet. It's hard to keep track but I think I have had discharge for 3 years now. It started as only being a little and being every 2 weeks or so but now I have to change my pantyliner up to 8 times a day which is very annoying especially at school. I think I started developing breasts 3 years ago also but they haven't really grown in two years which is another insecurity I have. I have a lot of pubic hair and have to shave every single shower. I am starting to wonder when my period is coming because I remember 2 years ago I thought it was going to come soon since I had discharge for a year (when I was 10). Still nothing.
