if you havent started your period in general its because your body isnt ready yet... the sore breasts and the discharge your getting is a sign that your body is getting ready to start that part... hair in your pubic area is usually the first thing that happens... when i was 10 i started noticing that my pubic area was begining to get hair but not until i was 11 i didnt get my period. so it just depends... i just think you should be patient. because you might want it now... but when it comes you will wish it didnt come. so just take it easy and stuff... and patients.

Well, Clarissa, every girl is different. I didn't notice breast development until I was about 13 or 14, and I'm still pretty small now! I started my period when I was 15, but all the signs didn't happen to me until I was 13 or 14, as I said. If the signs (eg: pubic hair, developed breasts, discharge) are happening now, then it is pretty clear that your period is on its way. Don't wish for it though! As a late developer, I wished and wished for my period, just so that I could be normal like all my friends. Then when it came, I hated it. I'm quite squeamish, so everytime I went to the toilet ot changed my pad I felt sick at the sight of blood, and the cramps are a pain in the ass! I'm not trying to scare you, periods are periods, but just be careful what you wish for, because there will come a day where you wish you hadn't started your period as early as you did! :)
