I have been having a very odd cycle. Since I turned 45 there are long periods inbetween like 3-5 months. Currently the one I am having now is situational. Everyday for the past 7 days it starts mid-afternoon and may last for anywhere from a few hours or until morning. When I get up in the morning it has stopped and the whole thing starts all over again in the afternoon. My Gyn's nurse says this is normal but it has never happened like this before and I am just wondering am I the only one who thinks this is strange or odd?

it is odd... im 18 and i never heard of this happening... but if it happened more than once then im guessing its normal for you. every girl is different so I wouldnt be so surprised. as long as you dont have any pain with that, then I wouldnt even worry at all.
