Hello.

I'm 17 and one of my testicles have been hanging low while the other is right under the penis. Is that normal? Should I just wait or go see a doctor? I can feel both balls, but the right one just won't drop down, while the left one is hanging.

Also, could someone please explain to me how much a penis has to be curved for it to be a problem? I've heard that it's normal for a penis to not be straight but stick a little bit to either the left or right side, but I'm wondering if my penis is too curved. I made a drawing so you can see what I mean.

(The pink part represents my body if you could look with my eyes down, the black line is my penis and the green line is a straight penis)

Hi Guest,

Yes, it has dropped.  They do that at/shortly after birth.  It's just a saying.

It is NORMAL for your testicles to different heights.

Your picture has been deleted.  It is NORMAL for a penis to curve.  They can curve left, right, up and even down.  Very few penises are straight.

You probably just have different length testicle cords (spermatic cords) that your balls hang down from. One side is just shorter than the other which is normal in many males to keep the testicles from hitting together when you walk. Being close up to your penis base is just a little shorter nut cord length than most guys have, but not a problem for you or in how it works for you. The term "balls drop" is both true in that men's larger testicles do hang lower and more visible than boys smaller tesitcles do before puberty and the larger balls are more noticable than boys smaller balls. The only time a curved penis is a problem is if it is too curved to enter a woman's vagina for normal sex. If your penis is straight enough to enter a woman's vagina then its perfect for its job for a man in sex. I hope this answers your questions for any new readers here.

I'm aware it's normal, but how do I find out if it's curving too much? That's what I want to know. Is there a "trick" to know this or something? Like "if you can do x with your penis then it's not too curved" kind of thing. Other than trying to have sex of course.

There is no "trick" to know if it is curved to much..
See a urologist. They specialize in the male reproductive system.
