Hello, Everyone Thank you for reading this in advance. I been posting a few things up and it has caused some questions around my situation and the drugs that i was abusing. First I want to say that I have been clean of opiates for 2 weeks now. I was abusing opiates like vicodin, percecets, and ocycontin for the past 4 months with dosages probably around 40-70mg per day. No more or no less. The abuse was pretty bad taking the drug pretty much every 4 - 5 hours..... So i got fed up lying to myself and my friends and helped myself and quit cold turkey....... Ok so here comes some of the questions that people did have for me while i was coming off the drug. I stated that I basically had no withdrawal symptoms and was pretty much free and clear. Now I do want to mention that I did have anxiey and some depression and yeah i had to go for a run and to get my mind off the drugs for a bit and yes I was thinking about it every 10 minutes and yes it was probably the worst week that i can remember, however I didn't experience any of the well know symtoms like vomitting or diarrhea the known symptom that you get about 8 hours after your last dosage...... I also want to apologize if I offended anyone in the proccess about calling the withdrawal symptoms a bunch of "hype". I wasn't speaking about long term users only people like myself who was using the drug for a short time. I thoght some members on this site who were using basically the same amount and same time frame as me were being a little less honest with there postings. Sometimes trying to mislead people does a lot of harm to that indidvidual and it does not help the situation........ However I do appologize if i offending the long term users i underastand this is a battle and a disease that is very tough to win. My thoughts and prays will go out to you to win this battle ,and I hope that one day you can live a clean life as best as you can.....Thanks again everyone.
