I suspect my daughter’s using drugs but I am afraid to ask her openly for fear that she might deny it or withdraw from me. Nevertheless, I intend to clear this up and fight whatever there is to be fought. My knowledge of drugs, its symptoms, consequences is scarce. Symptoms of opiate withdrawal?

Unfortunately, drugs are proliferous so the symptoms and ways to fight it are numerous and more or less specific. Symptoms of withdrawal begin within 6-12 hours after reducing or stopping use of opiates. The most common symptoms include: sweating, muscle pain, aches and cramps, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, goose bumps or “cold turkey”, enlarged pupils, and decreased sleeping. These symptoms last from 3 days to two weeks.
