It could potentially be EXTREMELY uncomfortable if it causes a rupture. Be careful not to mess with things too deep if you're very sensitive. I've had one rupture on me and there was bleeding, make sure not to panic and depending on your home living status and if people know about both things or not (if you're comfortable or can take yourself) you might want to go to the doc to make sure nothing bad has happened.
I was free of bleeding after a day or so (pad free) after mine ruptured during and was able to continue (albeit with discomfort) with daily life, however this is something I wouldn't recommend.
