I was told it would go down. The hospital I had it done went bankrupt and now I look like I have a beer gut. My general dr. (switching) thinks it is a beer gut but here is the kicker I don't drink. It is solid like muscle and is not flab. I did not think much since I am a big guy but I walk, exercise and lose wt in my legs and everywhere else but the gut. Hoping there is something I can do or that maybe new dr. will care.

Hello, arvoaussie.

A panniculectomy is a major surgery, so it is not surprising that you still have some skin laxity and excess fat in the area. Unfortunately, there is no easy solution for this.

You may want to consider consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options for skin tightening or body contouring procedures. The most common options are liposuction, tummy tuck, or a combination of both. The best option for you will depend on your individual anatomy and goals.

Have you already consulted with someone?
