I know I am not the only one who has had issues with doctors.

I am seriously wondering if I am a hypochondriac!!.

I have had back pain for over 10 years. I am not all that sure what is wrong with my back. I have never had a bad accident or an injury that resulted in back problems.

I have had physio when I was younger.. im 30 now so I think I was like 15 then... so wow I have had back pain for at least 15 years.. eep

What they did was heat therapy.. did not work. And they didnt change their pillows or pillow cases between clients so I got icked out and didnt return.. besides it wasnt helping.

I cant remember what kind of tests I have had done.. I have memory issues as well.

I know I have been in a machine was it an mri.. I dunno.. that was at least 5 years ago.

I have been to the chiropractor, had the tens machine used on me.. well the chiropractors version of it.
I have had acupuncture, and I have even had the lower back injection.. oweeeeeeeee.. really bad time with that so I backed down and wouldnt go back.

I have no coverage for acupuncture or the chiropractor.. im on Disability (mental health and physical health issues)

I have had NSAIDS.. they dont work
I have had Muscle relaxants..one of them worked but it was a prescription form a clinic and my dr doesnt seem to want to put me on them.
I have had various pain medications.. nothing major, my dr isnt big on handing out opiates .. other then Darvon and Codine.

They dont work.

I get stabbing pains in my lower back that runs down my leg.
I have a herniated disk
My neck has been hurting 24/7 for 3 weeks.. this is new
I pinch nerves all the time.
It hurts to stand, lay down, sit, bend.. pretty much everything hurts at some point in time

I try to explain this to my one dr told me its mechanical.. then he tells me to exercise and lose weight. (duh thanks)
But he sends me to a physiotherapist.
Physio guy doesnt look at my back or my range of motion or anything.. he just tells me to exercise and lose weight. That if I am not proactive then it wont get better..

I try to explain to him that I do exercise, I am trying to lose weight but it hurts! and it hurts for days after I try to go for walks and I am looking for a way to make the pain go away so I can do more , then I will lose the weight, build the back muscle and feel better.

I asked about the tens machine.. he states that it just masks the pain. I flat out said.. good I want to mask the pain so I can do things to make my back stronger.

I try to explain to him that the pain makes me want to vomit. That when I am pushing a shopping cart it hurts so bad I feel like im gonna get sick. He tells me its the food I am eating. I say its not.. he says it is. He is right I am wrong for everything. But I know its not the friggen food because it doesnt matter what I eat it matters what I am doing.

I try to explain to him that it hurts when I am walking. He says it doesnt hurt to walk.

I dont know what to do, I need help, I need someone to figure out what is going on with my back and my neck instead of blaming me for everything.. I realize a lot of it is my fault but there is something wrong I know there is.

How do I get what I need for my back , and what is it that I need????

Back pain guest, I see you put this up on 10/1 & I can say been there done that. that "H" disc you have should come out. Mine was so bad I used to get out of my car at the doctors on my hands & knees than told him in not so many words take it out. back pain wow nothing like it. If one never had a bad back than they have no idea what pain is. I know you have tried everything ,now try laying on your face across your bed. Oh yes, you will be in pain, but give it a minute or two & you should feel the pain start to ease up.
when you get up from this position do it on your hands & knees than stand. Also this will work ...Get a pee jug some light snacks & lay in bed on you back for two days. Don't leave the bed. Ok. you done this & that & you think maybe this guy is nuts , what have you got to lose you did everything else but. let me know how you make out.

Try yoga so many people have been helped by it and just tell the teacher of your problems and you may find some results in it! Hope it goes well!!
