But instead of makeing a dildo I would suggest maybe a sharpie-does the trick if you rub your clit with it

There are any number of places in your room that are easy to get to, yet rarely noticed.  High on the other side of your closet door (only if it swings in) comes to mind.  An old pencil case or pouch that would otherwise be buried in desk drawers can be used, if you happen to have one.  If you have a drawer/box/whatever filled with stuff your parents wouldn't want to touch (personal hygiene, for example) that would be as good a hiding spot as any.

I had an old (80's) box spring for my bed, with tons of room inside for me to slip things I didn't want my parents to find.  If your setup is kinda like that, that would be a great place to start.  If your bed is in the corner of your room, you could stash it under your mattress against the corner, where it's least likely to be noticed.

If it's home-made, does that mean it can be taken apart and put back together?  Just sayin', two or three innocent little pieces in different parts of your room will be a lot easier to deal with than one obvious toy in one spot.

Look around your room at the spots that you yourself rarely deal with: Clothes in your dresser or closet that you almost never touch, old toys that can hide your new toy (lol) or even a pair of shoes you never wear, any of these options and more can be used to conceal your toy.
