It has been determined long ago that parental conflict causes learning and behavioral disorders in children and a new study reveals that all the problems mentioned come from sleeping disorders caused by parental conflicts.

Just a slight disruption of sleep could to disrupt attention, problems with processing information, weak motivation, increased irritability and diminished emotion control.

The study included 54 children who wore actigraph around their wrists to detect changes in sleep positions, frequency of sleep disturbances and the overall quality of the sleep.

The study found that even a slight parental conflict and anger can disrupt children's sleep. Children who perceived conflict among parents to be intense, frequent and unresolved and who were exposed to greater level of parental conflict were even more likely to suffer from sleeping disorders.
