When you masturbate you hand a has a firm grip on your penis and thus you being able to "do it correctly" so more blood goes to the penis! When you are having sex, there is less Physical pressure so not as much fluid and blood fills the penis! This is VERY common! As long as you can get an erection doing both, it is just fine OK?
