My 8 yr old daughter had been having some belly pain for a while and I kept hearing stomach virus. Finally her pediatrician diagnosed her with constipation and we got that taken care of. She still complained of belly pain, she is suffering from fatigue some days and loss of appetite. We took her back to the dr and they ran a CMP on her. Every single thing came back normal except her AST and ALT. Her AST is 102 and her ALT is 31. She is 4'1 and weighs 52 lbs. So obviously not overweight and has a healthy diet. We are scheduled for an ultrasound this Thursday but the appointment with the Pediatric GI Specialist isn't until July 11th which I am not happy about. Can anyone please help me narrow down what is wrong with my angel? The only other problem we have ever had with her is a heart murmur about 4 yrs ago but that hasn't been a problem since. Please help. I am going crazy and am very concerned for my child.
