Recently i had my period for a little over 3 weeks. During the time i was stressed out. My period started off normal, then i started taking some meds, which was a steriod, for an allergic reaction to some meds i had to take for a bacterial infection, and my period became extremely heavy, with large blood clots in it. Everyone i talked to about it said that it was normal for the blood clots when u were taking a steriod pill. Well i didnt think nothing else of it, but then i started getting worried because my period continued for almost 3 weeks, it was a light brownish color, and not heavy after i got off the meds. Now my period has finally ended and i've been having back cramps, my breast have been swollen and sore, and i've felt nausuated. I'm not on any kind of meds now, i've never been on birth control, i dont do drugs, i dont smoke and i only have 1 sexual partner which is my husband of 4 years. Could I be pregnant, or could've been? Someone just plz help me...thanks

Hi, Well first of all I think the first thing you should do is to take a pregnancy test. Atleast then if its negative you can rule out pregnancy, then I would go to see the doctor either way its probably not anything serious or like you said just because of all the meds but its always best to be sure.My sister had a similar problem and everything turned out fine and no she was not pregnant.But of course every case is different.Good luck and I hope you feel better ;-)
