I'm 12 and I started my period in november (now feb.) but I haven't told anybody. I don't live with my mom and the closest person is my grandma that's who I live with. How do I tell her that I started, without it being akward. Thanks

Dont afraid, thats so normal. Nobody will think its awkward, proud of yourself, that means you're not a child anymore. That means you're young lady now :) your grandma will think like this too

Don't beat about the bush. Just tell her directly, without apologising. Just say "I've started my periods". As theartemis97 said, that's so normal. Your Grandma will be able to give you help and advice.
