I am 23yrs and i have always had irregular periods in intervals of 40days approx.. sometimes it skips a month. but in the last two months i had flow for about 20 days and spotting with blood clots is continuing till this day..... Is this a sign of a serious problem or is it normal?

You need to see someone about it, bleeding for more than ten days is not normal. Good luck

I once had a period for 11 months, and I normally have a two or three month gap between them, my doctor said it "just happens to some people" but then, when my mum had a stroke he sent her home and told her to tak some paracetamol - so I'd get checked out if I were you, you should be wary of anaemia too.
