I've used Monistat 1 for years. I remember when this didn't happen at all and now it's happening. I will be 72 next month, yes I get yeast infections because I'm Type 2 diabetic and it comes with the territory but just this last two months I've noticed a little bit of blood on the toilet paper and just once during a visit to the bathroom. It might happen the next visit but then after that it subsides. Then it might pick up again the next day, same show all over again.

Oh God, me too. I’m not one to gush/overly thank/throw out the ‘pink vag gunk sisters’ title around, but damn. Y’all just helped THIS PVGS feel A LOT less worried, knowing I’m not the only one to experience this. Love y’all all for commenting.

After the first day using Monistat 7, I got pink / light red yolk texture discharge. And i feel burned the morning after. I am not sure if its normal and it definitely worries me!

Google had me convinced that I was either dying or pregnant...maybe both. Thank you everyone for posting about your experiences. Currently using the generic version of Monistat (Miconazole 7) Im about to start treatment 5 and Im spotting like a boss. When I wipe I see a pink creamy discharge as if my insides were cut a little bit. This morning I also saw a chuck of the treatment come out with pink/red. I almost had a heart attack. My period is not due for another few days and I rarely experience spotting. I also switched to a new birth control pill so this added to the confusion and madness. I will most likely finish the treatment as I dont want to deal with this yeast infection again. I have a gyno appt in a few weeks for a yearly check up and will mention this. Funny enough, I originally used boric acid to deal with the yeast but after two treatment I was spotting too so I stopped that thinking that the boric acid was too strong. Turns out that this also does the same. I went from an UTI to this. If my lady bits could talk... Will try to update once i visit my gyno.

Update: I used the generic 7 day version of monistat and on day 5 I started to spot and then bleed. I mentioned this in my prior review. I did not finish up the remainder of the treatment. I scheduled an appt to see my Gyno about a week later. The bleeding/weird spotting stopped within 4 days. My Gyno checked me and he did not seemed concerned about the bleeding. My vagina was irritated due to the yeast. He explained that the applicator can cause damage or that the cervix can get extremely irritated during this treatment. He mentioned that no pushing the treatment as deep may help but not always. Some women are extremely sensitive down there. The bad news is that the treatment did not get rid of the yeast so I was prescribed a pill to deal with it. If this happens to you don’t freak out. You are putting the equivalent to hot sauce down there and your body will not be happy. You are not dying (like I thought I was). Give your lady bits a break and your inners will stop spotting. You might need a pill to treat the yeast instead. Not sure why these product don’t warn about possible bleeding ugh

Hi, I am in Australia and using a type of anti fungal called Clonea. I have been using it for nearly a week, day 2 of use I noticed blood specks then spotting. I totally freaked out. My vag feels like it's on fire inside. I am going to discontinue use and see my doc tomorrow. But hey, thanks for sharing ladies.. My prognosis looks a lot brighter now..

I started a yogurt yeast infection treatment 2 days ago and have been bleeding a lot since! I'm pregnant and that's why I chose to use yogurt. I've been fighting a candida overgrowth for over a month now but can not do the cleanse due to being pregnant. I'm bleeding like my normal period but have been fighting this yeast infection for months and it keeps coming back! Is bleeding like this normal? I'm kinda scared and my health insurance just expired so I can't go to the doctor until it's fixed. PLEASE HELP

Monistat 7 here! I'm on day 4 and mine is a pink color, and my chest seems a little larger, too. Thankful I'm not the only one with some weird looking discharge lol.

I'm experiencing what I believe is a yeast infection (it's my first one- and I can't go in to the clinic because I have COVID and am in isolation). I am using Monistat 7 and have completed 3 treatments. Aside from the increased burning and itching, I have had white and pink chunks in my discharge which has also been white and pink. I have also had little blood spots in my discharge too. Tonight I went to the bathroom and I had dried blood in my underwear, so I have also been bleeding a bit today. It could be something other than a yeast infection but my condition has improved a lot in the 3 days, and I'm considering getting checked out after my isolation ends.

THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS! Just used monistat 1 and I’m getting pink discharge as well. Now that I know it’s normal I feel a lot better. Will go to the doctor if it doesn’t go away in a few days.
