Hi my name is Rose.I did L4L5 fusion surgery in November 2016.my recovery was fast even my Neurosurgeon was amazed. My problem now is that I cannot go a day without taking Tramal and Genpayne which I was put on before and after surgery because the pain is unbearable and I cannot function.Is this normal,am I going to be on these meds forever?I am tired of them and the pain becomes worse a week before my menstrual periods.Is there no alternative therapy I can do besides the meds.My doctor said the pain will always be there but it has to be tolerable.I m 43yrs of age and I thought the pain will be gone by now.Please help.Is anyone in the same situation as mine.
