Hello!
I am 49 and didn’t have my period more than 4 months. Doctor says I am in menopause and I am also experiencing some menopause effects (like not sleeping at night, headaches etc). However, I woke up this night and I was bleeding. Is something wrong? Is it possible that a woman in menopause, actually post menopause is bleeding?
Thank you for every response!

Hello!
Actually woman is “officially” in menopause when she hasn’t bleed for constant period of one year. That means woman is in menopause. You are now actually in pre menopause, which means period before menopause and you will probably in near future experience some more unexpected bleeding.

I am 54 yrs old. Have not had period for 1 year and 7 days. At this point I have a dot of stain. Does this mean I have to start counting again or I am finished with menopause?
