I am a 30 year old woman with 5 kids. My last period has now lasted 14 days and still counting. Is it possible that I am going through menapause early or is there something else that is wrong. My mom and sister both went through it early so I was wondering if it could be genetic.

Yes, it is very possible this can be happening to you. Especially since you have the genetic factors with your mother and sister.
You should consult an OBGYN and an endocrinologist--they will assess your hormone levels by doing a few blood tests. If this is the case they will prescribe medication to treat your condition and stop your body from going through menopause at such an early age. Going through menopause at such an early age can have long term effects on your health and can put you at risk for other diseases in the long run.
RUN to your OBGYN and make an appointment with an endocrinologist. If no one wants to take your symptoms seriously you need to keep pushing and interviewing MDs if necessary until you find one that cares about your symptoms and needs.
This is all my opinion--consult with you MD asap.
