Does a vasectomy change the smell, color, or amount of semen?

Loading...

I'm not nut cut myself, but most men report no difference in the appearance of their semen after a vasectomy. Studies claim only 5% of the ejaculation fluids are sperm from the testicles and the rest are from the prostate and other male sex glands that are located above the vasectomy cut sites and closer to the penis. Only the sperm from the testicles is below the vasectomy cut and block sites, so the other male sex glands deliver a full and unaffected load of semen but just without the sperm from the blocked off testis. About 15% of all men getting vasectomies do have some form of pain or complications, so getting a vasectomy is not as simple and trouble free as Dr.s and pro vasectomy info admits. Do lots of research before you get the vas cut. Some men even seem to get very slowly castrated after a vasectomy and have all kinds of pain and testicle problems in later years. Some men get reversal surgery to stop pain, pressure, and other troubles. The biggest troubles seem to be pent up sperm damaging the testicles and epididymis below the cut and block sites with no escape to relieve that endless sperm production pressure build up on the testis side of the vasectomy cut and block sites.
