I am a 17 year old male. In terms of health and sexual intercourse I am very uneducated. Well, whenever my girlfriend and i decided to have intercourse, we use a condom and she is not currently on any type of pregnancy pills. However, the other night we did it, and near the beginning we did not use protection (roughly 5-10 min) & as stupid as this sounds, my question is, is pre cum composed mostly of semen? & what are the chances of pregnancy from this?

& to add on, i used to smoke pot about 2-3 months ago & have stopped completely. Does this have any effect on chances of pregnancy?

thank you.

There is always a chance of getting pregnant even if you have used condoms or other methods to try to prevent pregnancy, but the chances will be much lower if you have used contraception's. Since you both had unprotected sex, some semen could be released during the process and might carried a small amount of sperm. I would say wait and see whether your girlfriend have her period on time,if it's late for more than two weeks, take a pregnancy test.
