I am on the pill and I recently skipped my period as i was on holidays and didnt want the inconvenience. When it was nearly time for my next cycle we were still on holidays so i skipped it again. I then started to get a bit of spotting about a week or so before my next period was due. This started on the Saturday and it is now Tuesday and it is still going on. Nothing heavy but enough for it to seem like a period. i have been worried about it for a few days now but to make me start worrying even more tonight i noticed what seemed like a blood clot. Now i am really scared!!! Has this happened to any one before?? Can anyone giv me any answers???

Thanks

You've entered the realm of experimental medicine. Your pill manufacturer went to a great deal of trouble to provide a safe, proven means of avoiding pregnancy, passing stringent medical trials to do so, and then further explained in some detail, I suspect, how to make best use of it.

You however have 'skipped' twice something that nature has built-in for your safety and effectiveness as a woman, and that science has also taken care to not interfere with - hence the placebo pills.

You want to enter into medical experimentation, fine, but I'd suggest you'll need to get in touch with the manufacturer as they may have results for an 'always on' pill. You'd also best get in touch with a doctor for a checkup as to the current symptoms.
