(Please bare with me as this may be a little confusing but I really need advice). I was on birth control. During the month of June, I missed a few pills so sometimes I would double up. At the end of June, I decided to skip my period so I just started a new pack without taking the inactive pills! About a week or so later, I had really BAD cramps one night but no period ever came. After that I decided to stop taking the pills until I got my period. I still haven't gotten it. And for the last two weeks my nipples have been really sensitive! I did take a pregnancy test last week and it was negative! What could be the problem??

Hi Concerned,

Dont stress yourself. Have you ever done this before with your pills? I would say possibly your body isnt used to you doing this, if you havent done this before. ALSO remember that sometimes the side effects of the pills can give you the feeling that you are pregnant, and again, if you havent started a new pack (without taking inactive pills) before your body might be thrown off. Those things can really throw your body off. If you are super concerned, go check with your doctor.

I dont think you would be pregnant. Just remember when you make changes with your pills like that, ones body doesnt always take well to the change at times. Many blessings.
