Hi, I'm 27, and my penile texture is troubling me. I have been concerned about this for a few months now, and it doesn't seem to be improving. I don't remember noticing this at all last year, and I used to even get compliments on the appearance of my penis. But this year, it seems that my penis, mainly the head, the rim (corona) of the head, and between the foreskin and head area, is very rough looking with lots of little bumps- a rough terrain. The bumps around the rim/underside of rim are more distinguishable as individual bumps, rather then just textured. I haven't really had sex in under a year, the last was with a girl who I am uncertain of her sexual history.
Everything is flesh-colored, and nothing really hurts, but areas of bumps around the rim are a bit rougher to the touch. I know about PPP and fordyce, but the textured bumps don't look the same as pictures Ive seen.
For years, I wanked it without any lube, and quite frequently, now I apply lotion every day in the morning, and apply when masturbating. I don't have med insurance and have to pay out of pocket when getting blood work done, but I am concerned this may be HPV. I would be grateful for some feedback from a professional online before seeking medical attention.

Hey jg..... I'm not 100 percent sure what your penile texture is. (To me it apppears quite normal) but you know how it looked prior.... do you have any pics of ur penis before you noticed the change? Also when you get an erecttion does it seem to get better or worse? Finally I'm 99 percent sure you don't have herpes.... it looks nothing like that and herpes is very painful

Those are Fordyce an PPP. We have the same looking junk lol high five I am monogamous and have had those when I was younger and just recently I have gotten more. I had them checked when I was younger it's completely normal. I was getting worried cause I have gotten more recently the only thing diff is I have been using lube or oil based products for masturbation or sex. I think that might be the reason..

i have the same thing, its really wierd but i heard applying toothpaste may help a little but the texture is the same, i couldnt find anything like it until now, i dont get it, i have also had them for quite some time now and some dots inbetween when the skin is stretched. i believe it is normal but it doesnt seem so, any causes of why this happens?

It kinda sounds like papules, which are benign bumps, but I think those are usually around for life and you might have noticed them. Maybe friction from your hand is causing them to stick out more? Not a bad idea to get tested. But you might just need more lube and a daily moisturizer (Man1 Man Oil is good for the penis).

I have the same thing as him and I have been freaking out for a long time about it and was tempted to get blood work done to test it but this helps ease the worry, and i have been clean and only been with people that have been clean and I wear a condom, so I doubt it is anything but

You should get an STD check anyway but it looks like you have a couple of skin tags and also your skin has gone rough from not having a foreskin and masturbating without lube for years.

Bro same sh*t has been happening to me since last year, i went to few doctors they said it's normal told me might be some vitamin deficiency, but it doesn't look normal from our eyes.
