is it safe having sex on the 5th day of menstraution without withdrawal?

Loading...

NO. it is never safe to have sex without protection! and withdrawl is not birth control! you can get pregnant just as easily any time on your period as any other time of the month. Most professionals say that you are less likely to get pregnant on your period. It's still always a possibility. My advice, don't take the chance. Use protection (real protection, not just withdrawl) all the time!!!!!

the 1st day of menstruation starts on the first day of your period. on the 5th day of your menstruation cycle one egg is selected. Inside the ovary, each egg is surrounded by a layer of cells called a follicle. As an individual egg develops, the follicle releases increasing amounts of estrogen. having sex on the 5th day is pretty safe because it is during the time during or right after your period, but keep in mind that it would be a much safer idea to use a condom or go on birth control. You can still get pregnant even if you choose to withdrawl, but there is a very slight chance.
