Hello, my son is 7 years old and he subdues to respiratory infections easily. I do everything I can to prevent those infections, but that is something not possible. It seems he has atopic constitutions and that is why respiratory infections get him that easily. Bronchial asthma is also there. Doctor prescribed him with Serevent and Pulmicort. Are they any good?

I can tell you that this is a normal combination used for bronchial asthma. Even though chemically different, they have the same goal and that is relaxation of muscles in the walls of bronchi. They also prevent bronchi from narrowing and all that allows the air to pass more freely.
