So for sometime, I have experienced severe itching after taking pain meds, I know this is a side effect, but it is so un-comfortable that I almost don't want to take them anymore. Is there something I can take to stop the itching effect...? PLease advise asap.

Hi! What you might try is to cut the dosage to something that will dull the pain and hopefully cut down on the itchy feeling. Call your doctor or pharmacist and see if you can combine something with the Hydrocodone.
