You really shouldnt even be thinking about sex right now at 14. Being mature doesnt mean your ready to have sex.. Being mature means that your smart enough to make the right decision. I hope your not thinking about having sex anytime soon... becuz from one chick to another... I promise if you wait for that mr.right you'll remember and cherish that moment forever becuz unfortunately for others who'd just like to go on with it and ''think'' they're ready for it when they're young.. end up regretting it later on in life!! Please don't make that mistake with your young mature self!! :)

14 year old to 14 year old, I think maturity does matter when it come's 2 sex i lost my virginty august 29th, 2006. and i did regret it because i actually wasn't ready 4 it. But im still with the guy. My advice to u is before u have sex make sure that u really love this guy. and some times love is hard to see. u have to go trough some tough stuff to know if it is real or not. Sex can become addiciting. and u know it's a tough decision, but not a life or death one!!! And if u are really a mature person then i think if u have sex with this guy or who so ever then u will be mature about it and move on.

I suggest you do whatever you feel is best. just because you think you're ready to have sex doesnt mean you have to. if you do, you'll probably move on to regret it. I think you should wait untill you really fall in love with someone and see what happens.

At 14 you really don't know what true love is, and you will realize this when you really do find love. Sex complicates things, complicates relationships. Don't make a mistake you will look back on and regret. Just be young and enjoy life as it is.

I have given you two response to this; so please read both of them.

You are the only one that needs to answer this question, we can tell you our experinces, but not your answer.
So How old is the male in this question? is he a boyfriend or friend or a bag off the street?
So what I think is NO NO NO not a good idea!!!
OK you think your bio-time clock ticking away?
and all the boys will be going away to war next week?
Even with that, it is not a good idea to have sex with a male friend, it ends up that one of you (mostly males) wishing for more, and him not really loving you, just like "doing it".
Sex is just a part of the act of intercourse, and not the whole parts that make it a pleasant and memorable thought to you 10 or more years from now.

NO AGE;
Most will say you're too young and the others will say you waited too long...this is a tough question because the real answer is with you, but most girls in high school will have intercourse or a sexual relationship for their first time, so if you are at that time where a boy and you are together, (I was 15 and she was 14 when we had our 1st. sexual relationship and pregnant before 15) and you feel alright with him, that it is him that you will have intercourse with, and it will be forever with him.
You can always have him give you oral contact, if he know how to properly. that way, you will still be a virgin and have some type of sex contact. LOL

Now that you are thinking of having sex, think and plan on getting on to two forms of birth control, the pill and some other internal item to use both all the time. You are well over the age to get birth control without your parents’ knowledge or have to do anything for you.
make a appointment a & Go to a planned parenthood clinic, if you need to have a girlfriend or this male friend go with you, so he will know more about birth control. Plan on taking the pills for about 3 to 6 months before have the un-condom sex you are wishing to have.

Rule for Intercourse; some important ones
1) Have the proper time to enjoy both of yourselves, weekend at a friends' place gone for the days or a summer house
2) Take your time, don’t rush and get it over with.
3) Proper place; the beach sand or grassy woods are not the place.
4) Be protected with at least a condom or two
5) Have the nervousness taken care of; by mostly the other rule have been followed.

I'm hearing some great advice from these people.

Most are saying, "don't be in a rush"...and, " you're still too young."

Is it making sense to you?
