Hi,
The last 3 times I've pleasured myself (just clitoral stimualtion, no penetration), I've felt a sharp pain while climaxing deep inside the vaginal wall, or perhaps the cervix itself. I'm a 47 years old, and this has never happened before. I had my annual gyno check-up about 3 months ago, and everything was fine. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

I have had the exact same thing going on with me since the beginning of my sexual experience. I have sharp knife like pain with heat and sometimes they will last for hours and I have ended up in the emergency room. they come in waves like contractions. They are deep at the cervix. I have been to several doctors and none have heard of my problem and I have had sonograms, internal and external. I have no cysts at this time and haven't in several years even though I was diagnosed with PCOS. I do not have regular periods and I am 39 years old. Sex is great it's only when I orgasm that the pain comes. I have also had the thoughts of hysterectomy because the pain is so unbearable but I still want to have children. I have had one miscarriage just about 7 months ago in which I didn't even know I was pregnant and was 5 to 6 weeks along. All I know is we need help. Someone has to listen to use and really check all that can be checked. The pain is REAL.

I have been experiencing the same thing. Mine started after having a LEEP procedure done so I thought that perhaps it might be caused by scar tissue. I guess scar tissue would be tight and perhaps when an orgasm (and therefore contractions) approach, the scarred area gets pulled on and feels sore. The exact feeling I get is like a needle stab in the cervix just before orgasm and then during. It's wierd. It's painful but not enough to ruin an orgasm but does preoccupy my mind so I'm not fully relaxed and it can make me extremely unconfortable during foreplay especially if I'm being "teased" (brought to the brink and then stopped like edging). Is this caused by scar tissue? could it be hpv-caused? could it be an indication that precancerous cells have spread inwards (into the uterus) beneath the cauterized area? Does this mean that cauterising and LEEP excision procedures possibly only treat the superficial layers and allow the precancer cells to continue developing inwards where they cannot be seen transforming with a Colposcopy? What can be done? What preocedure can I get to follow up? I'm scared! :-(

This just started happening to me 5 months ago. I’m 28.. this has never occurred before, and my gynecologist said she has never heard anything of the sort. It sucks that no one wants to look further into it.

Lately, when making love with my man, when I get close to orgasm, I have pains in my neck and debilitating headache. What's going on?
